Operating Expenses
The goal of this initiative is to provide financial support for the operating expenses of organizations whose work aligns with our mission and values. Recognizing the importance of maintaining effective day-to-day operations, we aim to help organizations strengthen their capacity to fulfill their mission by alleviating the burden of operational costs. This includes, but is not limited to, staff salaries, administrative costs, facility upkeep, and essential program infrastructure.
This initiative will focus on:

- Supporting Organizational Sustainability: By providing funding for operating expenses, we enable organizations to focus on their core mission and services, ensuring they can continue to thrive and impact their communities.
- Encouraging Financial Responsibility: We will award funds to organizations that demonstrate sound financial management practices, ensuring that the funding supports effective and efficient operations.
- Accountability and Impact: Fund recipients will be expected to demonstrate transparency and accountability in how funds are spent. Regular reporting and monitoring will ensure that grants are used appropriately to support the organization’s operational needs.
Capital & Equipment
The purpose of this initiative is to provide financial support for the acquisition, maintenance, or upgrading of capital assets and equipment that are essential to the operations and growth of organizations. We recognize that having the right tools, infrastructure, and facilities is critical to the effectiveness and efficiency of an organization’s work. This initiative aims to help organizations enhance their physical infrastructure, improve operational capacity, and invest in the tools needed to achieve their mission and deliver high-quality services.
This initiative will focus on:

- Enhancing Operational Efficiency: We will support the purchase or upgrade of capital assets, such as facilities, equipment, and technology, that help organizations improve their day-to-day operations and service delivery.
- Building Organizational Capacity: Funding will be directed toward strengthening an organization’s ability to scale programs, reach new audiences, and expand services through the acquisition of essential capital and equipment.
- Long-Term Sustainability: This initiative aims to support investments that contribute to the long-term sustainability of organizations, ensuring they have the physical resources needed to grow, innovate, and remain effective in fulfilling their mission.
- Fostering Innovation and Quality: Priority will be given to projects that enable organizations to improve the quality and impact of their services, whether through new technologies, equipment, or improved facilities that enhance program delivery.
- Accountability and Impact: Recipients of capital and equipment funds will be required to demonstrate a clear and effective plan for the use of the funds, including the expected outcomes and benefits. Regular reporting and monitoring will ensure that the investments are used efficiently and effectively.
Special Projects
For organizations looking to fund a project that is not classified as a typical operating project or capital project, the Foundation will consider a grant for your organization’s special project.
Please bear in mind that the Foundation does not generally make grants to fund or support endowments, construct churches or seminaries, or underwrite professional conferences, symposia, or annual fundraising drives or events.
